பல்கலைக்கழக நுழைவு 2020/2021 ஆண்டிற்கான மொழிபெயர்ப்பு  இளங்கலை நெறிக்கான  (தமிழ் மற்றும் ஆங்கிலம்) உளச்சார்புப் பரீட்சைக்காக இலங்கை யாழ் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தினால் விண்ணப்பங்கள் கோரப்படுகின்றன.

Applications to sit for the Aptitude Test to follow the above four years Special Degree program  

Applications are hereby invited from suitable candidates those who possess the minimum university admission requirements for the academic year 2019 / 2020 upto  05.07.2020.

Eligibility for admissions

The candidate who wishes to follow the course of Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Translation Studies should have obtained minimum requirements for admissions in accordance with the University Admission Hand Book   for the Academic year 2019 / 2020. Accordingly at least three “S” grades in any subject stream at the G.C.E (A/L) exam 2019.

Aptitude Test

One who applies for university admission should sit for an aptitude test on Language proficiency both  in Tamil and English to be conducted by the University of Jaffna.  The aptitute test would be conducted in two centres at Univerity of  Jaffna and at Eastern University, Batticaloa.

Submission of Application

Applicants are hereby requested to send the online application form along with relevant documents, through the University of Jaffna  web site www.jfn.ac.lk.

Printed application should accompany with a paying in voucher obtained from any branch of the Peoples Bank for Rs.500/= drawn in favour  of the University of Jaffna Account No 162 100 160 000 880 being the fee for the particular test, (Cheques or postal orders will not be accepted) along with certified photocopy of the G.C.E(A/L) 2019 result sheet by the Principal of the school  or a Justice of Peace.

Applicants are requested to send the hard copy of the application by Post” “or “by hand” in addition of sending the online application form and other documents for a safety measure. Anyhow the online application is must.

The application should  be sent under registered cover to reach the Deputy Registrar / Admissions, University of Jaffna, Jaffna on or before  05.07.2020  at 11.00pm. following tittled shoud be written “Application for Translation Studies Degree Programme 2019/2020” on the top left hand corner of the envelope.

The Applications of those who do not possess the minimum admission requirements, those which do not accompany the paying in voucher which do not annex the certified photo copy of G.C.E(A/L) 2019 results or applications received after closing date will be rejected. Admission cards for the Aptitude test will be sent to the eligible applicants. For further details please contact 021 222 6714.
